Big Business, like big bullies need love too!
I bless Energy Australia with love. I bless them with love even though they sent someone around to my home unanounced, uninvited and completely unexpectedly so they could, within the space of no more than two minutes, lock me into a contract that lasts for three years. I bless Energy Australia with love because, even though the lovely 'Laura'- representitive number 82955-68321211114542 had a fantastic Irish accent and could speak the paint off the walls and was fantastic at her job, they helped me make a decision to look into the different suppliers available to me. I bless Energy Australia with love for trying this pushy tactic because they made me realise that I had other options in the de-regulated market that has opened up. I bless them with love for making me realise my complacency. I bless them with love for stirring me to action. I bless them with love because even though Laura said the information she had and the contract she wanted me to sign would take only a couple of minutes, actually took her so long to go through, it helped me make a decision that eventually only took me about thirty seconds.I bless her with love because she was lovely and didn't really deserve me pretty much telling her to piss off!
I bless myself with love for not actually telling her to piss off, because I just get too flustered to get that dramatic an end to anything really. I bless myself with love because even though I can turn like a angry tiger in my head in reality I just end up looking all spitty and silly.
I bless myself with love because I followed my instinct and didn't go through with their whole pushy, desperate deal.
I bless Laura with love because she was really good at her job and if I had had my nap and been full I might have signed just because she was so good.
I bless Energy Australia and hope they realise that their customers, like tigers and human beings in general don't like being locked into anything that they haven't asked to be locked into. I bless Energy Australia because for years they have given me good service. I bless them with love and if they are the best value and provide me with the service that I want in the future, then I may bless them with my custom too.
I bless my apartment with love and hope one day to own such a beautiful place to live. I bless whoever ends up owning it and hope they love it as much as I do. I bless my home with love and I thank it for proving to myself that I deserve and am allowed to live somewhere lovely. I bless the walls, the ceilings, the doors, the rooms and everything in it with love. I bless my wonderful friends with love for having lent me furniture and artwork to use and to hang in my home. I bless it with love and am thankful for all the lovely dinners, chats, drinks and parties it has hosted. I bless all my neighbours with love, especially the ones who always say hello and the lovely lady who rents my carspace. I bless my building with love because it is one of the most beautiful in Sydney - a grand old New York style apartment building - and I love it!

I bless Oprah with love because I think she would be a great President and Doctor Phil could be the Vice President in charge of Foreign Affairs. I bless Oprah, Doctor Phil and Robyn with love for helping me sort through some of my own crap with out having to spend a hundred bucks an hour to work it out.
I bless Gail with love just because I think she's got a great sense of humour, irony and because I just generally think she's cool.
I bless the new lady on the TODAY show with love because she's cool too.
I bless Peter Costello with love for bringing up Australian values training for migrants because from his past behaviour its a class he and 'Mr Mateship' John Howard could both do with. I bless them both with love because they so need all the love they can get and you can only get so far on ego.
I bless them both with love even though I think they could both do with a bit of biffo - just put them in a ring, let them slug it out and whoever wins gets shouted a beer!

I bless the Australian people who prove their values and strengths by supporting the underdog, giving people, no matter what their race, colour, religion or economic status a fair go, and standing up for the rights of everyone in this world, with tonnes of love. I bless them with love because they teach us all that, the whole world and not just Australia is worth helping and that being a 'true' Australian is about knuckling down and just pitching in.
I bless Australian cabbies with love because no matter their accent, their place of birth, their taste in music; they always have an opinion worth listening to.
I bless all migrants with love because we are pretty much all migrants, some have just been here longer than others.
I bless all Australians with love and hope they realise that the best way to teach Australian values is to treat all people that they come into contact with, the way an Australian would expect to be treated.
I bless the Federal Government with love and hope one day its values reflect true 'Australian' values in its behaviour and policies towards its own citizens, its neighbours and its allies.
